Case Study

Tomorrow Funerals are funerals done differently. Founded in 2021, they are an Australian based start-up disrupting the traditional and outdated funeral industry, reimagining funeral services that are transparent, flexible and focus on the power of storytelling to celebrate a person in a style that reflects the life that they lived. The team had little media coverage and were ready to make some noise. Tomorrow Funerals had experienced growth and were ready to share their story with the media to reach new audiences and expand their offering across Australia.
To promote and connect Tomorrow Funerals to relevant business/trade, lifestyle and general news media, introducing a fresh and innovative approach to an outdated and heavily monopolised industry by positioning Tomorrow Funerals as core disruptors and Australia’s first memorial & cremation-only business.
Another key goal was to position Tomorrow Funerals Head of Memorials, Kate Morgan, as an expert in her field. Creating media opportunities to share Kate's knowledge on a range of topics surrounding modern funerals, memorials, death, grief, sustainability, living wakes, keepsakes, eulogies, LGBTQI friendly funerals, business expertise and more.
During a 4 month campaign, The PR Pantry secured some incredible results and media traction for Tomorrow Funerals, securing 155 media items and an audience reach of 13 + million. Notable highlights include securing coverage in The Australian, The Age, Sydney Morning Herald, News Corp Metro Mastheads (Herald Sun, The Daily Telegraph, The Advertiser and The Courier Mail), Body + Soul, SBS News, The Senior, 9Honey, Woman’s Day and more.
“Emma at PR Pantry is incredibly good at what she does. The results she achieved for our business were over and above what we had expected. To be honest, I was blown away by her professionalism and passion.”
Kate Morgan, Co-founder, Tomorrow Funerals
